Stopped near our campground in LaSalle/Peru IL at the Starved Rock Lock &Dam. It's the Illinois-Michigan waterway, formerly just a canal. It linked Lake Michigan to the Mississippi river via the Illinois River
Hi (again, kind of) my clever comment didn't post. I chose Google cuz I have gmail. What does subscribe mean as 'atom' or 'rss'? What does the orange sign say over the exit?
OK, that worked. I see 'closed' with my trusty magnifier...just the lock & dam or the whole state of Illinois? (I'm just checking to see if I have to read unreadable words every time.) If not, this is a GREAT idea! Love, DnM
